I've only ever played DPS (mainly ninja) since I first bought the game about two years ago but finally decided to try out healing and it's so drastically different than DPS roles. I'm a pretty inexperienced white mage (level 54) and I think I'm at least halfway decent with dungeons. I'm definitely not to the point where healing is a breeze for me but I can tell I've gotten a lot better than when I first picked up WHM. So far no one has really complained about my healing except for a very few exceptions. There was one dungeon recently though that my party wiped on partly because everyone was getting hit with every mechanic and I couldn't keep up with the heals so I was kicked from the party with no explanation whatsoever and it made me question my abilities quite a bit. So I'd like to know you guys' general experience leveling healer for the first time.
