Enjoyed The Beast Tribe Changes Of Shb & Would Like To Encourage Adding To The System

Did the content a while ago but just had the time and wanted to say I thought the ShB beast tribes growth was pretty neat, and that I wanted to complement the two for their own styles- particularly liked the huge zone concept of the pixie, and thought having choices was novel part of the Qitari.

Particularly thought the last phase of the pixie where it gained all that plant matter and structure was a huge change, and thought the zone looked very cool. Was a bit young in the changes in the beginning (childish, which makes sense cause they're pixies) but at the end I thought it was really cool and explored it all just because it was fun to.

I was thinking it would be neat for next time if there is another big zone changer tribe (doesn't have to relate to tribes), and I do hope there is another one again, that it would be nice if we had some more quest content there. I keep hoping one of my daily pixie quests would ask me to go into that zone, but not yet at least. So something to maybe consider for next time. That and if we could have some interactions, when possible/reasonable, like the swings in the pixie zone- just having an animation on the swings would have been quite neat (would you like to swing? yes, okay here is swinging animation, move to cancel it). Or the roller coaster both having physical mass and moving, so you could 'ride' it.

Though I wanted to note I appreciate that things had a more accurate physical mass, in the beginning (earlier other beast tribes) the phased beast tribe content was usually either a ghost (could path through it) or a blob collision that wasn't quite accurate to the shape- so just wanted to say I notice it's getting more detailed and I appreciate that.

Also, if it makes sense for the game, that if the next big zone changer utilized resources for more of the other tribes in such a way that we could get a larger but more gradual and perhaps more impactful growth (perhaps with options too). Like Doma Reconstruction meets beast tribes, meets remix. Hard to argue for when it's just for one tribe- I imagine making the big zone was quite an undertaking, which is why I suggested if it makes sense the next area could be a multi-tribe content (allowing for a huge difference in features and visuals from point 0 to point finished). Having the resources poured into one content might also make it have more sense for working on a more interact-able space and as well having content within it (like Doma has npc shops you can unlock). If multi-tribe might want to add a currency exchange (like 2->1 or something) just in case you have some player that hates DoL/H content and can't progress on the city because they refuse to do a certain tribe's quests. On the flip-side though if it's multi-tribe you might be able to offer multiple styles of content from each tribe with each tribe still having a bias of type content of course. Or just tell people to deal with it lol.

Doesn't have to be beast tribes, just thinking of them as it seems the concept of change to environment and personally ('you the player') player driven (both combinations being something I really like) and are things that the tribes offer players already so it seems like a natural area to want to encourage. Like obviously Doma Reconstruction didn't relate to beast tribes, and it's also something I thought was cool- so it doesn't have to be beast tribe. (Ishgard is neat, but I much rather prefer I get to be in control of the changes, so while I've nothing against that content I wanted to add I'm not asking for that type here although there could be a hybrid mobile where the community determines the max potential growth while the player still determines the actual stage/changes, allowing for the competition/market spinning of the community and still personal control). Another thing to add if it was beast tribes is that that fact might help make the content area last the much longer, as you'd visit for each tribe as they're released even if you previously 'finished' it. Which then again can get players coming back to the area once the final rank quest is added (usually near the end of an expansion).

A thought to allow more player control might be allowing players to spend their tokens on unlocking certain facilities and upgrades (rather than changes being automated after quest completion), which as you add more beast tribes and tiers could mean you might need X of one tribe and Y of another for an item too (and also means changes can happy at a different pace instead of on strictly quest basis). Of course you could have a mix like a certain building will automatically become tier 2 after X quest, but then that unlocks 3 other upgrades you can get via tokens (which have their own rewards for unlocking).

May consider it as a simpler version of Dark Cloud, or vaguely WoW garrison like (though obviously less of a player home feel, not that I'd be annoyed if it felt that way- just not the goal of this post and I'd like to suggest airships if SE is looking for a base concept). When something is unlocked, like Doma Reconstruction, you can gain access to shops and perhaps other content (like a plant that grows you can collect from on interval, other content- doesn't need to be shops that deliver items). So rather than say when you unlock the final step of pixie and it's all said and done, here you might unlock a mini-game that uses beast tribe quest tickets, or get notified to revisit a while after unlock for a reward because X shop was able to make you something as thanks, etc.

If wanting to make it have an even longer term might consider using the fate tokens, or other older beast tribes (at least if it makes sense for the content, like if you were building a beast tribe refuge, or spending the tokens acts as a donation from that tribe to the location you're working on).

Scope could easily get way out of hand. . . so lol. . I'm not saying it wouldn't be good if it didn't have all of the above (having parts of it would still be awesome)- just thoughts on how to make it last a bit longer, revisit it more, give it a bit more duration, and while yes definitely more scope it doesn't have to be 'insane'.

Generally wanted to say I like the work they did and I notice the improvements to their beast tribe concepts they've made from the very first beast tribes to these ones. The detail and scale has changed quite a bit, having choices or an entire zone for a tribe is pretty neat and just wanted to say that really.

Good job, thumbs up :).

Thank you for reading.

(tl;dr, the title is pretty self explanatory)
