Problem: The hundreds / thousands of sub-materials you need to craft first. Even if you make a macro, you still sit for hours clicking Synthesize, macro, wait, repeat.
Is this engaging gameplay? I don't think so..
Suggestion: Change Quick Synthesis. After you've crafted the same item 10 times in a row with the same action, the Quick Synth button lights up.
When you click it, you get a chance to enter a number of items to craft, and it repeats the craft using the exact same actions you used for the first 10, but ten times faster. Instead of sitting there clicking two buttons for 60 minutes, you're done in 6 with far fewer clicks.
To require a bit moire player involvement, the first 10 crafts to enable QS must be performed manually, not via macro.
