So, for context, in the AST level 80 quest, the WoL is specifically noted to have taken on a Light Aspect to their casting. Whether this is due to being in the First with a high density of Light Aspected Aether ambient all around or due to the dealings with the Wardens (or both), this explains why you have things like SCH's Broil line becoming light infused projectiles from fire-ball-like ones, and WHM's "Stone" line of spells instead becoming Glare with the "Aero" line becoming Dia, both highly Light Aspect spells.
I don't know how many other Jobs saw a similar change, but I AM curious what happens in the next Expansion. Will we "bleed off" that Light Aspect and our spells return to "normal" (e.g. WHMs going to "Earth V") or will it be maintained going forward? Or might it depend on what we encounter going forward?
Maybe there will be some clues in the next Eden raid or the other stuff from 4.4 setting up for the next Expansion's story, who knows (like those weird towers in the trailer...), but I'm kinda curious what other people think about it.
And I want that WHM Aero3 cast (with the twirly staff) back, darnit! I don't even care if it's just an upgrade from Dia and an instant cast like the Aero/Dia line, I like the cast animation.
