So with the Preliminary Patch Notes, the names of each of the four Eden's Promise duties have been released:
• Eden's Promise: Umbra
• Eden's Promise: Litany
• Eden's Promise: Anamorphosis
• Eden's Promise: Eternity
Umbra is very clearly the Cloud of Darkness, but are there any new theories that these names generate? A Litany is a form of prayer centered around lengthy, repetitive chanting between the leader and congregation, and an Anamorphosis is a distorted drawing only properly viewable through a peculiar angle or reflection (and also something in biology that I was unable to grasp the definition of, but seems related to metamorphosis and/or evolution. Someone in the comments please fact check this). Eternity could mean just about literally anything final boss-y, but if we're still riding on Ultimecia theories, it could refer to time compression (though I also haven't played FFVIII, someone else please fact check if this is a stretch).
