The districts look all the same, the houses look all the same and it is because:
1) Due to the lack of appealing walls, people pick from the best looking stuff. In Shirogane, every other house has the "Sukiya-zukuri" walls, which look great, but also all the same. I actually liked that we could pick a different roof, wall, windows, door and decorations, but they don't have the same quality as the all-in-one-exteriors. It would be great if we got new, pretty sets to pick from.
2) Most outdoor furniture can not be dyed in a meaningful way. Especially if we could dye plants, flowers and trees, it would make a ton of a difference for the look of our gardens. Please stop producing undyeable items!
3) Make larger items, especially trees. Trees are great to fill empty space, but most of them are not large enough to do the trick. This is why Eastern Wisteria is so popular. It looks busy, it's large, it's pretty. A lot of people use this for exactly this reason, but it also makes the districts look very cookie cutter as we can not dye it.
