Dye crafting is sorely under-utilised

So, what happened with this often ignored section of the crafting menu? in days long gone, a crafter could mix up a nice shade of green or blue in a jiffy and dye their questionably fashionable clothes.

These days, if you want a dye then chances are it's either a scrip trade, hidden behind tribal quests, or straight out bought with other-worldly currency from the mythical Mogstore.

I mean, there's the marketboard too, but they didn't just magically appear on there for sale despite how some people seem to think it works!

I feel like it's well overdue for a bit of an overhaul, with more dyes being craftable. Sure, keep some of the restricted ones like beast tribe dyes, as an incentive for doing those quests, but provide more options for crafting some too. Add new ones if you have to (though I would really love a recipe for Ruby Red dyes - I get through a lot of them!).

They don't all need to be the same level either. Give players more options as they increase. Mix up the recipes - they don't all need to be pigment only. Just SOMETHING to make the dye section less redundant.

At this point, I don't think there's a single crafted dye which isn't available at an NPC. There's little incentive to craft them any more. Aside from that, we have such a limited palette of colours to craft that the ones we can make aren't even used that often!

You'd think a noteworthy crafter capable of building air balloons, complex machine parts and a god-slaying weapon or two could at least figure out how to make some new colours!

Rant over, but please consider giving this an overhaul. It's long overdue.
