Attendance Requirements
Major Cities/Glacier
Xarcabard/New Dynamis
Dynamis-Flow
- We require members to be 70+ in at least one job. If you are less than level 70, you may attend if you need to clear a particular Dynamis, but you will not be allowed to lot any AF2 or currency.
- To guarantee a spot on a run, please sign up in the appropriate thread. If you do not sign up, or show up late, we cannot guarentee there will be space for you.
- Members are required to stay for the entire run, this includes farming AF2 after a clear. If you have to leave early, notify a sackholder before the run begins and tell them what time you will need to leave. If you leave without any notice, you will be removed from the shell.
- If you have any questions about attending a run, please contact Garret, Fodder or Benny in game or via the forums.
- Prior to entering Dynamis, you must set a search comment indicating whether you will be lotting AF2 or 100 currency.
- You may only lot AF2 for one job. That job must be high enough level to wear the piece of AF2 you wish to lot. You may choose to lot 100 currency if there is no AF2 you are able to wear.
- If a piece of AF2 drops for which nobody has a search comment, priority for that piece will go to those that have that job 70+, then 60+, 50+, etc. If you elect to lot a piece of AF2 this way and win it, you may not cast lots for your previous search comment. If you have already won a piece of AF2 or 100 currency, then you cannot win AF2 in this manner.
- Only one AF piece or 100 currency may be obtained by the same person during each run.
- All DX runs are currently sponsored and attendees may not lot single currencies. All single currencies will be kept by the sponsor. 50% of runs will be sponsored by Ultima members, the other 50% will be open for sponsorship to DX members. For runs sponsored by DX members, those interested in sponsoring will /random in front of a sack-holder prior to entering and the winner will sponsor that run. If you do not win the lot, you are still expected to attend. You must be upgrading a relic weapon in order to sponsor a run.
- Shadow Mantle & Shadow Ring are free lot.
- Attestations & Fragments used for upgrading relic weapons will go to the person who has made the most progress on the corresponding relic weapon. Runs for farming these will only be scheduled if someone requires the item for their current stage. If you are interested in a run being scheduled, please contact Garret in game or via the forums.

Dynamis-Flow
- The main puller(s), typically one or two thieves, will shoot, or sight aggro, a stone. A sackholder will direct the puller if they are not familar with a particular zone.
- After being aggro'd, the stone will proceed to spawn mobs, typically 2-4 mobs per stone, which may or may not link with other stones. Average pulls are 3-5 mobs, a large pull is typically 10-15 mobs. More than 15 mobs is typically a wipe situation.
- The BLM alliance will be positioned relatively close to the puller, this is because stones move very slowly. It is very important to NOT rest during the pull. If resting, pulled mobs will aggro & kill the offender. The kiters in the BLM alliance, usually 2-4 assorted PLD & NIN, will provoke stones off of the puller and kite them while the BLM's nuke them. It is important to keep the stones out of the main alliance because of their dangerous AoE's.
- Stones with blue eyes provide AoE HP recovery when killed, while green eyes provide AoE MP recovery. Before these stones are killed, kiters will bring these close to the main ally for the BLM to kill there.
- The main alliance will be positioned decently away from the BLM alliance, this is to ensure AoE's from each groups' mobs do not kill the other alliance.
- When the puller arrives at the camp, RDM's & BRD's will proceed to sleep all of the mobs aggro'd on the puller.
- Designated alliance tanks will then begin engaging mobs. All melees must have an /assist macro for their designated tank & backup tank.
- A typical macro would be: /assist Garret
- This will target you on the mob you should be attacking. You can then engage the correct mob until it is defeated. During this time, all off-tanks should provoke slept mobs to ensure they do not wake up & kill the RDM's & BRD's.
- The order in which mobs are killed is very important, some mobs are very dangerous if left alive, and others are hazardous to kill and should be killed last. The general kill order is as follows:
- SMN > BLM > BST > BRD > RDM > WAR/DRK/DRG/RNG/SAM > PLD/THF > MNK > NIN > WHM
- It is VERY important to remain /assist'ing your designated tank. Waking up slept mobs at the wrong time can easily kill yourself, the person sleeping the mob, and potentially more of the alliance, or even cause a wipe.
- When most of the mobs have been killed, rinse & repeat from step 1.
