Dungeon Tanking For Absolute Minimalists.

After a spat of terrible tanks that ended up not completing dungeons (via being kicked or having others leave), I decided to help those of you who may be struggling to get through your dungeons.

Below you will find macros that you can use to 1-button your way through any dungeon from level 15 as long as your healer/DPS players aren't licking the same windows you are also watching Netflix. I chose to use the Shirk icon for these macros both because that's what you're doing with your responsibility to your party members and also because it looks like the icon is slapping itself in the face.

Don't worry about having everything in one button, they mostly have different recast timers, so after the first use, they'll spread themselves out nicely!

If you're playing Paladin (or Gladiator), you can use this macro:

/micon Shirk /ac "Total Eclipse" /ac "Arm's Length" /ac Sentinel /ac Rampart /ac Reprisal /ac Sheltron

If you're playing Dark Knight, you can use this macro:

/micon Shirk /ac Unleash /ac "Arm's Length" /ac "Shadow Wall" /ac Rampart /ac Reprisal /ac "The Blackest Night"

Don't stress about not having any mana for Edge of Shadows, you weren't going to use it anyway.

If you're playing Warrior (or Marauder), you can use this macro:

/micon Shirk /ac "Mythril Tempest" /ac Overpower /ac "Mythril Tempest" /ac "Arm's Length" /ac Vengeance /ac Rampart /ac Reprisal /ac "Raw Intuition"

The Warrior macro actually gets easier to use once you're past level 40 because then it will use Mythril Tempest (a circle) instead of Overpower (a cone)

If you're playing Gunbreaker, you can use this macro:

/micon Shirk /ac "Demon Slice" /ac "Arm's Length" /ac Nebula /ac Rampart /ac Reprisal /ac "Heart of Stone" /ac Aurora

So, grab your class' macro, make sure your gear is within 10 levels of your class, and then you can just queue into any dungeon you like and just /follow your healer while pushing that button and watching how your saliva runs down the window Netflix. Or better yet, if you have one of those fancy keyboards, you can just set it up to push the macro for you every second for about 20 minutes at a time, that way you don't even need to be in your seat.

By doing this, you will be better than the average DF tank, because you're not only going to keep agro on everything due to using your AoE every 3 seconds, but your healers will love you because they will see Arm's Length and Rampart being used more than NEVER TIMES EVER in a dungeon.

The worst part about this post is that I actually tried it and it was good enough for both Trusts through Malikah's Well and GC Squadron through Aurum Vale. Writing this post has been an absolute roller coaster of emotions for me. It started with frustration (at 2 days of terrible DF tanks), then amusement (lol, Ill type a joke post on reddit!), then sadness (this will probably work better than some tanks), then surprise (it actually does) and lastly back to sadness (it actually works).

EDIT: Seplilng
