My broad complaint about the current Dragoon is that every iconic/interesting move that Dragoon has is OGCD, while every GCD is just basic combos. I think it's more or less fine that Dragoon has some dull 1-2-3-4 combos; basically every class uses them as filler for when you're not actually doing anything interesting. But with Dragoon, you're always doing the dull combos, because every cool move you have gets squeezed between the basic combo that you literally never stop doing as long as you're in melee range.
For contrast, let's look at Paladin. When Paladin does its Confiteor et al, you entirely stop doing your basic combo, and instead you do something special: cast spells that do a bunch of magic swords stuff. The cool thing briefly becomes the focus of what you're doing, and it feels all the more significant because of it.
And it's the same for most (if not all) other DPS and tank classes: they have cool moves that they do instead of their bread-and-butter GCD stuff.
I think Dragoon has a super cool aesthetic, and their signature thing — Jumping — should be able to spend some time in the spotlight rather than being entirely relegated to the moves we use between other moves.
I hope this is something you'll consider while developing Dragoon for 8.0. Thanks for taking the time to consider my feedback!
