FFXIV is my first MMO and I don't really have any interest in sinking time into any other MMOs (unless my friends start playing them, idk). So the impression I tend to get from posts here is that FFXIV is the shining beacon on the hill of modern MMOs and all the other popular ones (WoW, Destiny 2, GW2, etc.) are shooting themselves in the foot or slowly dying in various ways. But of course, seeing only posts from this sub is going to give a slanted view, so for those of you who frequent other MMO subreddits/communities: are there "converts" who go in the other direction?
