Disappointed That Tos Don't Apply Unless You're The Specific Victim, According To Gm

Greetings. I filed a complaint about an incident in a dungeon in which two players, let's call them A & B, vote kicked a third player, C, under false pretenses. This vote kick was initiated for the person allegedly being "afk." As a participant in the dungeon, I can assure you that player C was not at all afk. Player C was a healer who was struggling to do the mechanics but who was making improvements after a couple of wipes on the last boss. I provided full details in my complaint. I am being intentionally vague here for the privacy that SE seems so deeply intent on maintaining for all people regardless of their behaviors.

I will note that I also had textual evidence that it was a false vote kick because after A & B vote kicked person C, person B asked how a healer at that level could be so bad at it. This text is proof showing that the healer was not kicked for being afk at all but rather for struggling in the dungeon. And just so you know, reader, the healer was making improvements and clearly trying. We're not talking about trolling here. We're talking about someone just struggling to learn mechanics & job actions.

It was really disturbing to me watching my random teammates (daily roulette) abuse the vote kick feature in this way, and it disrupted my own gameplay experience by making me feel angry, frustrated, sad, and disappointed. I do not know person C personally; I've never spoken to them before in my life. I queued for the roulette solo. Just because it's a stranger doesn't stop me from being disgusted & angry watching others abuse the system. I did try to reach out to person C after the dungeon ended, but they had already signed offline, and since they're not someone I already know, I cannot send them a Moogle Mail.

I was contacted by GM Sonnokoth about this matter. GM Sonnokoth told me that because I was not the victim of the vote kick, it would not be investigated or handled. GM Sonnokoth did not say they would reach out to the victim, person C. The GM made it clear that no investigation will happen unless the player who was vote kicked contacts them.

I still intend to reach out to this player and to encourage them to contact SE in the hopes that SE will implement/uphold its Terms of Service. However, I have to say that I am very deeply disappointed in SE for the handling of this matter.

I understand no one can go by heresay. The text in the chat, however, showed proof, and I feel pretty certain that on their own end they can see the vote kick happened.
