I was just thinking on this, and I think it would not only be genuinely interesting to see how the game gets developed, patch by patch, I do think it would help keep the FFXIV playerbase more in-line. As we would know the development pipeline and how things happen.
I think this would also inform us of what is really keeping the viera/hrothgar hat issue from being solved.
