I frequently get this issue, but only while playing this game specifically. I'm just playing like normal when my monitor decides to go black and tell me its entering "power saving mode." Any attempt to wake the monitor back up afterwards fails and it only returns to normal after my PC is restarted. The monitor is not completely unresponsive though, as I can still open the menu and even change the input source over to my Nintendo Switch. If I haven't played in a while the game runs perfectly fine for hours before this issue returns, but after restarting my PC and launching the game back up again, I am lucky to last 10 minutes before the monitor decides to go back into this mode.
I have the latest NVIDIA GeForce driver, and monitor driver available.
Monitor Model: Dell S2716DG (G-SYNC)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
Processor: Intel Xeon CPU E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz
It sucks because I am having a great time with the game so far!
Does anyone know the cause of this issue or a possible fix?
