Into the offices of the Fishing guild of Limsa Lominsa walks a Vetran Fisher and Warrior of Light. She sits at the desk and begins to write out a letter with the provided quill ink and paper provided by the receptionist.
“Dear Master Wawalago,
As the Ship Captain suggested I would like to register a complaint about the timing and or frequency of the ocean fishing trips. As a level 80 fisher I would like to see if you would extend the number of trips each week and am willing to take a reduction of scripts as a result. The trouble I have is the slow amount of times we can make it out results in a delay in some of the feeling of achievement in finding out all the fish out there. And there is one shark out there that keeps laughing at me I just know it. If I had more time or opportunities to get to him I could figure out this fish’s week point and reel in a true prize for our guild.
Dutifully and Sincerely Your humble Guild Member,
Morri Pawsoff.”
With a moment or two dabbing the ink dry and carefully folding and sealing the letter She rises and Dropps it into Master Wawalago’s mail slot and thanks the Clerk as she heads out to try and catch the Boat.

OOC: ok to those who are reading this I am asking the Final Fantasy XIV development team to make a minor adjustment to the timing of the Ocean Fishing event. I love it and like the fun I have out there fishing. But those 10k points for the mount is admittedly rough. Especially when we can only go there 12 times a day and most of the time on my data center only 6 might have a reasonable chance for it it feels. Could we simply make it a bit more often like once an hour, or maybe once a Ezoran day? Maybe lower the script count by half to balance it out? Anyone having the same troubles who would be willing to help keep this topic alive for the Moderators and Developers to see I will be grateful for this chance.
