If anyone doesn't know who he is, Damielliot is the son of the former owner of Frondale's Phrontistery, the late Syndicate member Eolande Quiveron, and the former guildmaster of the Alchemists' Guild, Faustigeant.
In 1.0, Dami was a central character of the Alchemist story arc, and a secondary character in its MSQ, where he repeatedly fell under a mysterious sleeping sickness that Faustigeant spent the last year of his life trying to thwart. It was through Dami that many of us grew more interested in and confused by the Echo, The Boy and the Dragon Gay, Eorzean alchemy, and Ul'dahn politics. He was also the vehicle through which we learned of the Elezen's extended lifespan and puberty, as he did not visibly age between 1562 and 1572 despite being a child. Moreover, Faustigeant's research on his son's sleeping sickness ultimately led to the development of the potion Lolorito swapped out Teledji's poison with in the attempt on Nanamo's life.
For these reasons, he has a small cult following / niche fan club.
Sadly, after years of suspected Syndicate intrigue being behind the family's woes, Eolande and Faustigeant perished during the Calamity under mysterious circumstances. (You can find the former still wandering the Palace of the Dead.) For years, Damielliot fell through the cracks, until the holiday event team helped bring him closure during the Starlight Celebration a few years back. After his parents' death, he miraculously recovered and went on to become the head of the Frondale's child ward.
Wonder what he's up to for Little Ladies' Day...
The intersection of "sick children's ward" and "everyone should feel like a princess, today" has a lot of emotional potential... lol.
