Looking for examples of hotbar layouts (keyboard/mouse) that are nicely set up to function well across multiple jobs. I understand the basics of setting things up for 'muscle memory' - ie., sprint should always be "here", your AoE spells should always be "here", etc., so that regardless of the job you know where to reach/look for certain behaviors. I realize keybinds are going to vary wildly, so I'm more interested in things like 'you need to reserve X number of slots for AoE skills, have Y number of slots for generic skills', etc.
The challenge at low level is that I don't have all my skills unlocked on a single job, much less a bunch of others, and I'd like to start building that muscle memory sooner rather than later. I love the FFXIV feeds you skills slowly over time so that you learn how to incorporate each one, but that also means I'm building my hotbar piecemeal, and each new skill can potentially drastically change my layout. I could try laying it all out by looking at level 80 skills across all classes and mapping it out, but I'm guessing folks smarter than I have already done so. Please let me cheat off of your effort!
