Not everyone is playing an MMO for the twentieth time.
Not everyone is playing a video game for the twentieth time (seriously there are a lot of people whose first video game is Final Fantasy XIV).
Not everyone finds the idea of openers and rotations intuitive even after 80 levels.
Not everyone can, or wants to, do hardcore content like Extreme or Savage.
Not everyone finds even "faceroll" or "casual" content like Eureka and normal mode trials easy (that's why they nerfed Shinryu and Steps of Faith - the devs agree with me).
Not everyone wants to or can dedicate over 20 hours a week to this game.
Not everyone finds wiping over and over to the same fight hundreds of time entertaining.
It's fine to be hardcore and it's fine to be casual.
But when hardcore elite gamers ridicule regular players for parsing badly (like a certain streamer did),
When hardcore elite gamers criticize first time healers for not DPSing enough,
When hardcore elite gamers get upset at one (just ONE) wipe in a 24-man raid (which I should remind everyone again that it isn't easy to a new player!),
When hardcore elite gamers rage at developers focusing on casual content when they forget that casual players can't even be inside Ultimate...
Enough is enough. Casual-shaming has gone too far. It is time to revoke hardcore privilege in this game.
