I'm sure this has been done to death, but it needs to be repeated a lot so that it is actually done. Why are job stones not mandatory? There hasn't been any reason not to equip one apart from intentionally making yourself weaker since 3.0 released, right? (Correct me if HW had benefits for classes too.)
If people want to do a class only level 80 dungeon run, that's fine, but please, make it so they have to be in a 4-stack or unsynced to do so. Job stones not being mandatory allows trolls to troll and means that players who genuinely don't know about job stones potentially get toxic vitriol thrown at them for not knowing.
Making job stones mandatory would only have positive impacts for the player base as a whole - if people want to gimp themselves, that's fine, but they should keep that in solo content or with friends who are okay with it.
I'm honestly not at all hopeful that this will ever be addressed, given that it hasn't for, what? Nearly 6 years (Assuming HW removed any benefits for classes)? But, I mean, we're finally getting a new healer, so maybe pigs will fly.
