So, I used to play MMOs a lot back in the day. I played DAoC on Alb/Perc for years! I also played Warhammer online for a long time, as well as City of Heroes.
So, when I googled "best MMORPG to play in 2020" this was the #1 on several lists, and the one I was already looking at, so here I am.
As of right now, I am on Adamantoise, because of the double XP. I am noticing that with the 2x XP I am leveling faster than the main questline (getting synced down when I go into the boss fights). I have only been playing for two days and have been soloing the whole time with no issue. However, what I like about MMOs is the community and interacting with others, which is what I loved about DAoC. In the original DAoC, you didn't make it to level 50 without some good group activities. How does this game foster group interactions?
Is just doing quests as I come to them the best way to level? Right now, I am a 20ish Gladiator (with some minor experimenting in pugilist and theu). I have also been dabbling with the beginning crafting skills.
