Unfortunately they do not ask for feedback to returning players so I'm writing it here. I've stopped subbing months ago and used my 4 days to try Bozja, wanting to clear every ShB content before moving to Endwalker.
I'm not going over everything that I found good and bad here in the rest of the game because I've already commented/liked on the appropriate threads, and my opinion hasn't changed at all since my last posts when I unsubbed (boring jobs, bad glamour, no Viera hats, bad housing, the usual).
BUT I'd like to show some appreciation for Bozja. All the midcore content I've been feeling has lacked ever since they decided to cut and simplify endgame dungeons has apparently been here all this time. It's a shame it's been relegated to a sidequests that not a lot of people will do (but more than old synched Extremes anyway).
This is the only place where FATES are interesting enough to grind; Critical Encounters are just the right casual difficulty for Bosses, with enough dangerous mechanics to keep you on your toes but not overly punishing and a great gate system that doesn't turn them into mindless zergs like Hunts; Castrum and Delubrum Reginae were also the right difficulty: I went in after a quick glance at a guide but they were exactly what I'd expect for a casual player. DR was torture when I tried soloing it but huge thanks to the 7 people who showed up in my PF, you were very nice. Castrum was on the easier side but still enjoyable.
I wish open zones FATES worked like this, letting us climb the ranks of the Grand Company of Eorzea and deal with threats throughout Eorzea/the East in Critical Encounters. It's a shame it's been relegated to instanced, optional zones (mind you, it still had more people than when I was going through ShB MSQ areas).
I wasn't able to finish the entire quest (I only reached rank 20) but I can't wait to go back because I truly did not have this much fun since the HW days.
And if you fix housing, glamours and job identity I'll pay money for it as well!
