When I ran the Bozja duty in Cid's mind, I noticed that the city was absolutely HUGE. This shot doesn't quite do it justice, but it's easily the biggest thing we have seen.
But it got me thinking. Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, and Gridania are embarrassingly tiny compared to all these new cities added from Heavensward onwards. Even Ishgard itself is this titanic thing, as well as Ala Mhigo.
Are we to assume the vanilla 3 city-states are actually smaller, or is it a technical limitation under gameplay/story divide? We can see in this concept art that Ul'dah is much larger than the small people down below...which would make sense since it's supposed to be the most powerful of the Eorzean city-states (at least economically and militarily).
