Hi guys, I am a long standing WoW player. I recently went back for classic, but in light of recent events, I am looking for an excuse to get out.
Should I be coming here? I am looking for something that will scratch the itch of discovery, progression, and community. I don't want to be hopping between instanced worlds, I want to get lost in a sprawling adventure. Is FFXIV the game for me?
I played GW2 for about a year, but the lack of solid endgame content and the limited playstyle (only having like 10 spells at any given time, all feeling like incredibly generic reworks of each other) drove me insane.
I post this because I strongly believe I am not the only one looking for something new, and I hope I can get me and the hopefully many refugees from that toxic, evil company to a safe harbour.
