Years ago, I bought this game. I actually bought a PS4 specifically to play this game. got leveled, got to endgame and couldn't figure out the raids. Deleted the game, deleted the data and moved on. Fast forward to this week, decided to give it another go. I have a few friends that play and though maybe, they could help me out. I played ffxi for years. Buy the complete edition from the PlayStore, download it and try to play. It says my old account from years ago is linked to my PlayStation and I can't create and new Id. Ok.....I'm told if I create a new psn account I can bypass this. Create a new account. At it says I need a registration code. Ok, then i realize the email on my PlayStation is a dead email address. I put in a ticket. All week I've been going back and forth with trying to solve this. Figuring out the old address. Sending every email address I've had in the past 8 years. I had just moved across the country and used my girlfriends email address at the time, as I didn't want to use my work email, which was my only email at the time. Just to be told, they can't unlink my account, and they didn't say anything about the registration code. Wtf am I to do? Just call store support and get a refund? I just want to play my damn game. Can anyone offer suggestions?
