So I am SUPER excited this happened, but I 100% didn't expect it. The accident is that I didn't expect it to actually go through.
Was waiting in a queue and went for a walk in the Mist. My FC estate is there, but I saw a plot of land for sale. Now, every other time I've seen one of these plots there was some sort of auction or wait time, or it was unavailable, or I didn't have the funds. This one was sitting there for 2.9 mil and I decided to try and buy it thinking I wasn't going to get it. I actually thought plots/housing were extremely rare in terms of availability. My purchase went through (I whispered "Oh Shit, it worked), and I immediately became distracted. Let's say the Copied Factory run I Q'ed for didn't go well since I was looking at housing items on second monitor. While I spent all my money on-hand, I did have some funds with retainers, so I'm not completely house poor.
Well, I am now the proud owner of a house in the Mist. Now it's time to grind crafting classes to make my own stuff. I'm excited but scared at the same time. Never realized how much can be done to housing. Square's got my sub for the next 5 years while I pay this off...
If anyone has an recommendations or suggestions as to how to quickly get my money back or quickly level classes, I'm all ears. Haven't spent too much time with crafters. Until now.
