I have heard stories from some of my other fellow Blue mages on how hard it was to learn the Primal spells before the current patch. One of my party members had to do Shiva EX 147 times to learn her spell. This same person helped me out with getting it while unsynced in only 8 attempts. It went by so fast that we decided to try to get the spell from Garuda EX. It only took 3 attempts. I also solo'ed Ifrit and was able to get his spell in about 4 attempts. Leviathan was only 1 attempt because it was a full party. Just wanted to make this post to let people know that if you were originally scared away or got too frustrated with trying to obtain all their spells to go back and give it another shot. I was able to obtain nearly all the spells for the spellbook in just one afternoon, and it would be nice to see more out there again, especially with the update to BLU coming in 5.15.
