Blu Mages: Post Your Specialist/mimicry Rotations!

I nearly exclusively tank, so being able to tank specialize as a BLU has been amazing!

For tank mimicry, I loadout with the following, always:

Mighty Guard, Aetherial Mimicry, Veil of the Whorl, White Wind, Exuviation, Devour, Diamondback, Magic Hammer, Toad Oil, Aqua Breath, Northerlies, Eerie Soundwave, Blood Drain, Flying Sardine, and SC+Angel Whisper

Almost every pull starts with a single cast of WW and Whorl if it's up to gather the mobs and establish hate (WW being an AOE provoke and massive aggro generator), then AB+Northerlies to freeze-lock the pack. Then it's just a matter of murdering them. On megapulls, I may SC+Diamondback after the initial WW+Whorl if things are looking shady.

On boss pulls, start with any ranged primal attack (I like Shock Strike), run to position, then WW+Whorl, and do the following: Lucid Dreaming/Magic Hammer/Devour on cooldown, then keep up a WW->BD->BD->(repeat) rotation using Exuviation, Flying Sardine, and Eerie Soundwave as needed, tossing in random primal skills whenever you're above 5K MP, and using Diamondback for any massive tankbusters.

This accomplishes a few things. First and foremost, you will NEVER lose hate. The aggro from WW far exceeds anything else in the game, and the constant WW spam keeps the stress off of your healers who can use the time to DPS (which you sadly can't). This principle also applies to esuna/dispel: you hit like a wet noodle, so it's better you handle it. The second thing this rotation does is ensure you will never run out of MP even though you're spamming AOE heals like a beast, at the cost of about 1/4 BLU's DPS output (easily made up for by DPSing healers). The third thing it does is ensure that anything within shouting range will be stacking on your face permanently, and given most BLU DPS spells are AOE, they get quickly mopped up. Lastly, it turns you into a vengeful tank god who is nigh unkillable if you have a healer tossing you the occasional Pom Cure in most content.

(Example: on Primal we did a full CT trilogy run last night in about 35 minutes, and I died only once as the solo tank spec in the raid, and only by not getting to a Xande platform in time.)

Additionally, I've found that if you have a healer mimic spamming a rotation of Exuviation->Gobskin->(repeat) and using Magic Hammer, Lucid Dreaming, and all primal spells on CD alongside you, there is nothing that can stop you even in raid environments, leaving the rest of the raid to go into a full DPS frenzy. This proves especially useful during enrage mechanics such as the snek in coil 1 when it recombines and gains full damage up stacks.

What strategies have you all discovered to be useful?
