Just posting to express my relief they decided to listen to feedback and added ice paradox back in the game. The job is by no means perfect and there are still kinda shit changes like what they did to thunder but I see this as a huge positive that they were willing to revert this (as well as SAM's tsubame changes) as early as 7.05.
Mind you, nonstandard is not back yet as I believe flare markers still dissipate when going into UI but this is going to make standard feel way less shit to play and this gives you the b1 recovery line.
I think the main item of concern moving forward is what to do with thunder procs. Provided they find a healthy solution for them, they could then look into lessening the rigidity of flare star - it's another lever they can tweak that can modulate nonstandard getting too out of hand for their liking but also allowing it to exist in some form (considering they didn't even remove af1f3p being a gain to begin with I don't think they're entirely against the concept)
