Hello! I'm a first time poster here so I hope I'm doing this right.
I've recently picked up FFXIV again. I have reached level 50 as a white mage and I'm almost (? I think so) done with the WHM quests. As for the main story quests, I'm a bit behind (after the attack in the Waking Sands).
Before that I played a thaumaturge and a tank, though it was last year and I can't remember which class specifically and I stopped playing around level 40.
My question is: is it better to go through the main story as one class or is it better to level up a few classes before really diving deep?
I know the game allows a huge liberty when it comes to playability and I'm leaning more towards learning a few classes and have some fun and sporadically advance in the main story (my goal being, not being a level 70 somewhere and still being stuck at a level 40 main quest haha) but I'd like some advice!
Of course I'm always very careful when playing with other players in dungeons or raids, I make sure I'm up to the task before engaging in online fights.
