I have around 32 characters (my main and 31 alts) that I've leveled up to the point of unlocking Expert Delivery for the purposes of sustainably farming gil with retainers (I pay for all 10 slots, so 320 retainers total). I decided to start leveling some of them through the MSQ with the expectation that I can get increased daily/weekly currencies, but I'm wondering if it's really worth it.
As I see it, you can use higher-level alts to gain
* Increased maximum retainer levels, which is great for gil, gc seal, and FC point yields
* More tries at wondrous tails gold tickets (fairly high time commitment per character to get even a chance at 3 with rerolls though)
* Faux hollows
* Doman enclave (lol 20k a week)
* island sanctuary (tons of upfront investment for a sort of mediocre weekly haul)
* maps every 18 hours (probably great on map releases but does require me to level fisher)
* uncapped tomestones on release of crafting materials (big money but rare)
* playing savage with friends without lockout issues (realistically only need 1 extra alt for this)
* The official rules allow one fc per server, so I could do submarines, but I don't believe this is ethical.
* custom deliveries are a fairly healthy dose of scrips each week
I'm mainly interested in gaining tradeable items/gil which are transferable to my main (via friends or armor stands), so most passive currencies (tomestones, MGP, etc) aren't really that useful. Is there anything I missed?
