Bonjour, fellow humans !
Baguette Fantasy is a video project covering many recurring elements through the Final Fantasy series.
Formerly known as "Before Final Fantasy XIV", like I stated in the previous topic/post, I decided to create a new one since I slightly changed the scope of the channel(s).
Now, it goes from the 1st Final Fantasy to FF15 and may include other games depending on the topic if they're really worth it (like the Chocobo games?). I also decided to include more humor and be less stuck up, as well as "off topic" videos and some other reviews but that's not the point here.
The videos either talk about the evolution of things such as classes or summons through the main series, or make indepth comparisons between the FF14 versions of bosses and their original counterparts.
Since I do almost everything by myself (both in french and english), I'm a bit of a slug regarding the "content producing pace", but I try to be as accurate and clear as possible. Of course, whenever I had or have to rely on another source, I make sure to give them full credit, on top of asking permission first.
If you're looking for a chill narration (and sometimes an invasive french accent), give it a go
.
So, let's start again with the first "subseries" explaining a lot of gameplay mechanics of the main FF games that will (almost) always appear in my videos.
The first part, from the very first Final Fantasy to the 3rd main entry.(6:28).
The second part of the mechanics explanations, this time covering Final Fantasy 4 up to the FF7 compilation (minus Before Crisis).(7:51)
The 3rd part, going from FF8 to 10-2.(8:46)
The 4th part, going from FF11 to 12-2.(9:05)
The 5th and "last" part, going from the FF13 compilation to 15 !(15:00)
The 6th part, talking about "Before Crisis FF7" that will sadly no longer be covered, as well as the sequels to FF4 (Interlude and The After Years) and to FF10-2 (Last Mission) that will rarely appear in the project.(11:13)
Some of the following videos (the onein italics text) were made with my old mic and my almost complete lack of knowledge on how to edit videos correctly.
I'm currently in the process of remaking the Warrior and Thief, see this blog post for more infos.
