Due to a continuing pattern of low attendance at city runs the Sacs and I have decided to implement the following system.
Each run will now award you "Attendance Points". These points are not to be spent like points in other "Point" Systems because this is not a point system. These points are simply a record of your attendance. 1 Point will be awarded for the following runs: Xarc, Glacier, all CoP runs, Bastok. 3 Points will be awarded for the following: Sandy, Windy, Jeuno.
Your points for the last 8 runs will be totalled and divided by the possible points for the last 8 runs. If you have more than 50% of the possible points in the last 8 runs you will be allowed to lot at a tier before the standard tier system which we have been using. Note: This percent will update every run.
The new tier system will be as follows
Attendance > Wearable > 70 > 60 > 50 > 40 > 1 > Free
A spread sheet has already been started to take care of the upkeep of this system. I will create a thread so that you may see your current percent before each run.
We will begin using this system on the first run in December using the 8 runs directly preceeding that run.
Edit: Additionally, we have decided that Xarc and Glacier clears if sucessful will award members present a bonus point. We will also be adding a new lotting catergory: Points. If you choose to comment this you are saying that you choose to lot nothing for the run you are currently attending in exchange for a bonus point. This may be a useful option for those people who wish to come help now and then but have busy schedules. Bonus points are defined as points added to your total points but not added to the total possible points. (thus when your points are divided to create a percentage, bonus points will not cause your points to be divided by a higher number)
