Has anyone else run into this?

Yeah I know, reddit, maybe someone can read the original Japanese thread.

Oddly enough my first atma matched up with the zone and time listed, which alone convinced me to try this.

Now tonight I got my second one at 11:00 hour in Central Thanalan.

Though last night I spent the same hour in the same zone and got nothing.

It sounds like there's some validity to a higher drop rate in regard to local time in certain zones.. or maybe it's just superstition. But hey, why not?

3 atma in 3 hours tonight

BLESS YOUR HEART.

I should hit 50 tonight so I will soon start farming for an atma. How sound is this theory? Trying to learn as much as I can before I get the point where I would start farming.

Apparently Yoshida debunked it, however it worked for 8/12 atma for me. JGP also had a lot of success using it. It certainly doesn't hurt to try, as farming fates in a single zone can quickly burn a person out.

Yeah, I had luck with a few then my luck ran dry. Kinda relieved he debunked it.

Could be it works because more fates spawn because more people are in those zones following the farming theory: In JP time
