Two things for this post, as they kind of go together.
1. Atherial reduction items:
I admit to having only done the most casual of exploration of it, but it looks like if an item can be reduced it is not used in any crafting in the entire game. This means that there is no reason for any of them to be able to be harvested with the collector glove off. This also means they shouldn't be on the market place as you can't reduce the regular or HQ ones. A number of them items are marketplace banned, but shouldn't there be a cleanup of the rest?
2. Collectible Gathering:
I admit it, I have never figured this out. I can't make heads or tails of it. I can't find any guides that make any sense to me at all. I can't even follow along with step by step directions I've been given and have it work. On the other hand if I poke things randomly, I eventually get collectibles good enough to hand over to Zhloe, without ever understanding why or how. Anybody willing to try to explain it to me? Maybe "collectible gathering for absolute morons" guide somewhere?
3. Overlap of 1 and 2:
None of the items that you can collectible gather for "Custom Deliveries" can be used as crafting ingredients anywhere. Perhaps since these are only useful in collectible mode, we can get auto collectible while gathering, the same way Ishguard has given it to us on crafting? Perhaps this can also happen to the Etherial Reduction only items?
