Ast Mains, What Is The Most Effective Layout For Dishing Out Cards?

I love AST to pieces, but I feel like there has to be a more efficient or faster way of giving out card buffs. Certain layouts? Placement of the card skills on your bars? Where the card skills are located on your UI? Any macros that you use?
