I'm new to this game and currently have a Viera character. I wanted to unlock the Great Lengths hairstyle at the Gold Saucer and spent a couple of hours there grinding the points to purchase it. But then couldn't find the hair in the Aesthician only to find out that hairstyle isn't available for my character.
I wanted to ask if hairstyle unlocked this way are still locked to a character only. (most of my google searching suggests that) And if so why in the world is it an option for a character to buy the hairstyle but never be able to use it.
