Slashdot.org added "achievements" for users, not just announcing it but actually implementing the system. Pretty funny for a tech news discussion site. ^_^

Haha, Yeah Varda - I saw that... but didn't actually go into it.

People really got bent out of shape about the NASCAR thing, I mean really... That was exciting when I was like 10. No offense to fans here, but it's just cars going in a circle.

Nascar is great... where else do you get to see cars crash every weekend?
Ya they go in circles so it is boring. I prefer F1/CART/IRL (whatever term you prefer) racing.
