So I played FFXI for about 4 years in the mid 2000s. During most of that time it completely consumed my life. Its a weird feeling looking back on it. I absolutely loved every second of it and sometimes I feel like I would give anything to go back to that feeling I had the first year of playing that game. On the other hand, I feel like I might have missed out on some things because of it and would never want to get so invested in a game like that again. And thats the reason I never played FFXIV. So...questions....
1) Anyone who played FFXI back in the HNMLS days, that game demanded your time. How would you compare this game to FFXI back then?
2) To what extent is this game soloable? And for the content thats not soloable, is it easy to find help?
3) I know this game is old now too, is it still worth it to start right now?
