I noticed I would imagine my character to react in certain ways than what is actually shown in the game since I gave my character a personality. I would always do these things that I think would make sense for my character and whenever I do certain missions or choose certain jobs that I don't think would fit my character, then I would consider it at "not canon."
I believe that's what I love most when it comes to FF14, the story makes your character feel like there is some depth to him/her. It doesn't feel like your character is just a robot like other games do, it feels like the game takes what is in your mind and transfer it towards your WOL which explains why it feels like your WOL actually has a character despite it being a silent protagonist.
I don't know how to fully describe so I hope it makes sense. Does anyone else do this?
