Any Other Ff Game I Should Play Before Diving Into This One?

Wondering if there is any other game from the franchise, or overall something I should go trough so I have the best experience. As of now I played only 6 and 15, 14 very briefly a year ago, didn't actually play at all really. Now I wanna give it another proper shot, and simply want to do it properly. Thanks for any advice ^^
