Platform: PC
Input: Controller
Lately I've been having a problem:
Emotes, spells and other actions I do by typing into the chat log (e.g. /dance) sometimes immediately cancel as if I moved very slightly (and in fact my character does end up in a very slightly different position). The same is true for e.g. "/action vercure" - sometimes the spell is interrupted.
I've tried with an external keyboard instead of my laptop's keyboard (in case the problem was me hitting the trackpad with my wrists), and with the controller off (it's bluetooth) and both can still reproduce the bug sporadically.
On a related note, the "Centaur's Charge" duty action in E5S appears to occasionally cancel in a similar way for me, much to my and my party's dismay
I've engaged the action and literally put the controller down and had my character pop out of the animation.
I can't be sure the two are related, but the first issue is extremely annoying. On the other hand it mostly *doesn't* seem to happen when I use the controller to initiate actions, which suggests that maybe the duty action *isn't* the same problem?
Anyway, any insight or even a pointer to a tool I could use to debug the problem would be greatly appreciated. I suppose worst case scenario I could install an input logger on my PC and see what's happening.
