Already skipping encounter mechanics in normal mode at ~MIL

I did reclears on storymode M6 yersterday, and I was actually surprised to see the party skip the thunder cloud phase partially. The time it took for the boss to go through each basic component of the bomb mechanics, the arrows, and then the environment repaints, the fire phase, that thunder was completely skipped. I don't remember actually, but is the order random? If so, then it's not that bad I guess since the first one will not be skipped...

Either way this is a trend that's been ongoing for a while, M4 storymode also has this issue with the soft enrage that sometimes triggers too late because the boss is dying too fast and has to finish its current mechanic first. The last fight of Juno as well has mechanics I've seen only once in my life (Doom), and half of the last big mechanics is also skipped. probably more now that we moved up tiers.

Note that I'm speaking of fights at release, and not the usual overgeared, outright fight denial we get later on when the tier gets older. At release, random parties already skip big encounter mechanics on some fights.

What are we paying a subscription for this game even for? Skipping half the content? Or if we want to actually have unskippable content gameplay, just go play ultimates?
