I never thought I would say that, but if a player used a mod to make the first Alarm Pheromones easier I wouldn't be mad at him. It's still unfair since not every player would use it, but it's not much different to the mechanic itself. It falls under the NoClippy category for me. The average death in this mechanic on pf is 1 or 2 per pull. You can't convince me that this is a skill issue and not a luck issue. There are some patterns you simply can't avoid. It lasts about 20 seconds so knockback invul doesn't help a lot, you usually save it for later but it's not guaranteed. Sprint doesn't help much either, since the telegraphs are faster than your react time. And the worst of all is that it's right before the burst, in a fight that is very dependant on dps check! I'm always annoyed when I have to do this mechanic, and everytime I die it's enfuriating. If the telegraphs were a little bit longer it wouldn't be as bad. Please SE, fix this mechanic!
