In-game time:
Area and coordinates: Ul'dah (all aetheryte shards), the Gold Saucer (all aetheryte shards), Limsa Lominsa (all aetheryte shards), Gridania (all aetheryte shards)--these are the only ones I have tested but possibly all major cities are affected
Housing: all player housing areas with the housing item Miniature Aetheryte placed in the outdoor furnishing slots (NOT the aetheryte shards themselves in the housing areas)
Steps:
1. go to any of the aetheryte shards or miniature aetherytes in the aforementioned areas
2. stand next to them
3. they are noticeably bigger compared to the aetheryte shards and miniature aetherytes in 6.58; aetheryte shards in the housing wards to travel between areas within the wards, and the aetheryte shards in The Firmament area all remain the same size as the previous iterations.
4. the inconsistency of the sizes between areas (major cities versus The Firmament versus the miniature aetheryte housing item) leads me to believe this is a bug that needs fixed.
