Advice?

It is time I ask for advice here.

First, a little backstory...

ARR had a really rocky start, but by the time I got to the end of ARR, I was killing it.

Heavensward was your average playthrough. However, it is where I started being enraged by solo duties. well, I have ALWAYS been bad at solo duties.

Stormblood, it was like a roller coaster. However, by the end of it, I was killing it. The last four Omega raids seemed like second nature to me by then.

Shadowbringers, Here I either do exceptionally well, or horribly bad. There is no middle ground. I cleared several solo duties first try. Two are the exception.

Why am I asking for advice?

Well, I have been way under par for most dungeons in Shadowbringers. Holminster Switch is the one I did exceptionally well on. I did exceptionally well on all the trial fights as well, but the rest of the dungeons, all hell broke loose.

I did watch MTQCapture on EVERYTHING in Shadowbringers, but actually doing it is another story.

It is NOT my DPSing. I know how to DPS. I start by applying my DoTs, energy drain, and I make sure that all my burst damage moves (OGC) are available at the start of each boss fight.

Main reason why I ask for advice: After TOTALLY sucking ass on Amaurot, where the healer was refusing to raise me during boss fights because I was only a burden. Also, he had some obnoxious "Pay attention mechanics are happening right now" in decorated text and 20 sound effects macro.

It was not that I was not paying attention, I just could not figure out where to go in most cases. MTQCapture was not clear enough on the proximity mechanic on the first boss in Amaurot. It was a different safe spot each time and I was always furthest away from everybody because I had the "get away from me marker"

So, what improvement advice can you give?

Also, on a side note. I do want to apologize for being enraged on the subreddit. You guys have actually been very helpful
