I wanted to send a special thanks to a certain type of player. My FC is smallish but super tight-knit, and we've been dipping our toes into high-end content here and there lately without enough people for a proper static. Recruitment is slow going, but we still want to do stuff! So, with 6-7 of us ready for ex trials and baby savage raiding, we frequently have to rely upon a few ringers in party finder.
Of course, this will give mixed bag results. Sometimes there are folks who blatantly lie about what they can do, or try to commandeer the leadership of the group...
Other times, however, we get rock solid subs that are "just there to help" -- usually because they're bored or something! My FC has gotten first-clears for several members of Titania, Innocence, Hades, even E5S, thanks to some of these folks.
Of course, they're usually cross-world from us, but we've made habits of inviting willing participants to our discord as honorary raiders. We've built a pretty good community at this point, despite still not having enough for an FC only static.
My point is, really, without these wandering players, a lot of players in my FC never would have a taste of what it's like to succeed is some of these more challenging fights, and for that I'm super thankful. Keep up the good work, and if you haven't tried it, a sub-static out there could need you to get their first clear in something!
