Specifically related to frontline here. I've played plenty of rival wings and its not That bad. But frontline...ffffffffffffffffff
I have legitimate concerns with pvp in this game as I've done more than I ever thought I would while waiting for 5.3.
So here goes for the suggestions:
Make it so all classes are able to kill each other 1v1. This assumes equal skill level. Right now, you won't be killing a tank as a dps, or a healer as a dps, and if you're a tank or healer trying to kill a tank or healer - just dont.
This can be achieved through any one change or combination of changes listed below.
That's about all I can think of for now. I'd like to hear suggestions from other pvpers on their thoughts, criticisms, and improvements to these suggestions. I know it's not likely to see a change, but maybe one or more of these ideas will somehow work their way to a dev's ear eventually.

This can be achieved through any one change or combination of changes listed below.
Reduce the amount of potions to one. You get one potion on a 30 second cooldown. That's it. Your engagements need to be better thought out if you want to survive. As it stands right now, you can live for so long with 3 potions on a 15 second timer, and that doesn't count skills you get that boost hp. It's beyond annoying having someone dead to rights, they pop 3 potions and make it back to a healer forcing you to retreat.
Lower HP to 3/4 of their current total (ex. 20k hp goes down to 15k). This will make engagements more dynamic and also require more thought on what additional skills to choose, and when to use your cooldowns.
All classes should be able to kill one another. This can be achieved through a rock paper scissors function. Healer>Tank>DPS>Healer. Or something similar. Giving a small damage boost of maybe 10% or so when fighting the role you are strong against would be enough to turn tides, but not too much that you're guaranteed to lose if you come across someone who's strong against you if you are smart with your cooldowns.
Battle high's. Holy hell are these overpowered. Why does the team thats stream rolling get to steamroll harder? There isn't much more thats more infuriating in pvp than this. This either needs to apply to the party as a whole like in rival wings and not be reduced on death - like rival wings - or removed entirely. Sure its fun to wreck, but in a mode where its a giant 72 man fight, it's easy to find yourself on the getting wrecked side rather than wrecking.
As it pertains to frontline, I get the nodes are random, but can we not give an S rank node in front of the base that's 600 points ahead of everyone else?
Targeting. This is a problem both in and outside pvp, though its much less noticeable outside pvp. But in pvp....good lord is this atrocious. Targeting needs a BIG fix for pvp. Right now the best workaround is either a target macro that targets the closest person to you (but if you want to tab to the second closest person you're SOL), or literally rotating your camera so your target(s) are the focal point on your screen (who the hell thought this was an ok targeting system?).
