A Few Ideas

Hey all.
I started playing FFXIV about 7 months ago. And while I have been playing several things have come to mind. Ideas for ways to improve things. Some large. Some small. And in no particular order.
Glamour System
- I suggest that the Glamour system be reworked to a degree. For starters. Have every item that can be affected by Glamour already in the system. So when you open up the UI everything is already there. Sets are assembled. And you can easily use the fitting room to create sets and dye them within one UI. To unlock items you still need the item and a prism. So the economy stays and in fact, gets better as everyone clamors to put all the gear they have stored away into the system. Make it a one-time thing. As you no longer have to worry about a limited inventory for your Glamour drawer there is no need to take anything back out. It also stops hackers from selling all your glam items.
- Make a craftable item that allows the use of glamour plates anywhere for a short time. Prisms would allow for changing the glam on an individual piece of gear from the UI instead of having the item on you.
- Store dyes in the Glamour UI. They must be manually put in and cannot be taken back out. Max stack of like 99.
- Show in the Glamour UI where you can find that item or set.
- Armor with Multiple dye options. (I wanna look like one of the Gotei 13 captains from Bleach on my sam)
ToolTips
- In crafting mat tooltips. Please add what crafting jobs use them. So I can see at a glance what it's used for.
- In gear tooltips. Please tell me if I have that item in ANY of my inventories. I'm saving gear on my retainers for alt jobs and don't wanna roll on items I already have.
Misc
- Allow a dismount on attack option in the character options. Essentially if you hit an attack that would successfully execute you will dismount and execute it.
- I'd like to see the ability to have a second setting for character battle effects for when you're in an alliance raid or normal 8 man. I love having battle effects on full most of the time but in an alliance raid there is just too many flashy graphics to see the telegraphs on the ground. Id like an option that auto lowers it to Limited when I enter an alliance raid then puts it back to full after.
- When in a Party. An arrow on the edge of the minimap to your party members.

I hope thats everything. And I hope some of you all like my suggestions. I'll also be posting this in the forums to see what people there think too.
