Fellowships have some potential to be useful but with third party applications existing such as Discord and Line in Asia, they need to do more to become and stay relevant. The current implementation is an incomplete product that never should've been released.

Here are a few suggestions (more than most other threads have) on how to improve fellowships beyond their current incomplete state:
  • Allow more advanced searching for fellowships by adding additional fields including name, world (homeworld of creator), fellowship size (e.g more than x members or less than x members), and by multiple activities (e.g a fellowship that is both casual and battle).
  • Create a context menu (right-click or whatever on a controller) on each message within the message board to allow sending a friend request to the poster, tagging (see below), and potentially more. Additionally remove the "X" at the end to delete the message and add it to the context menu. The "X" just looks like outdated UI design.
  • Tagging (mentions): allow a user to tag another user in a message post. This would notify the tagged user "hey you should read this".
  • Subscribe: opt-in to get notified when a new message is posted on a fellowships message board.
  • Add a way to publish notices to users. This adds a way to interact with the users of a fellowship since as is, the fellowships require the user to actively engage with them and little ways for the fellowship to engage the user; making it pretty useless. Published notices would allow the fellowship to actively re-engage users for fellowship activities.
  • Deleted comments should not remain on the message board. This is unnecessary clutter.
